Jamaica gets new military vehicles
The Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness, announced his government are making investments across all areas of Jamaica’s national security. This afternoon, we commissioned into service 6 Bushmaster Protected Mobility Vehicles, he said.
According to the Prime Minister, the new vehicles will add significant capacity to our disaster response capabilities as well as provide more visibility and presence in communities with high levels of crime and violence.
More importantly, the Prime Minister argue they will bolster the joint operation between the Jamaica Constabulary Force and the Jamaica Defence Force as they work to restore peace in troubled areas.
