JAMAICA TO LIGHT UP ON NEW YEAR’S EVE WITH A LOVE, LIFE, AND HARMONY FIREWORKS FESTIVAL 2024
Mark your calendars for December 31st because Jamaica is ready to turn up the vibes with the Urban Development Corporation (UDC) Fireworks Festival 2024! It’s happening at the Kingston Waterfront, Ocho Rios Bay Beach, and Harmony Beach Park in Mobay, all at the same time. Best part? It’s totally free for everyone, and every year, tons of tourists and locals show up to join the fun. Expect performances from Jamaica’s top artists, just like always!
To get everyone hyped for the big night, the UDC has teamed up with the Jamaica Reggae Industry Association (JaRIA) to bring some awesome pre-party events leading up to the festival. They’re mixing things up with JaRIA’s monthly talent showcase and corporate mingle, called “Reggae Wednesdays JaMz.” This goes down every 2nd Wednesday at Coral Cliff in Mobay and every 4th Wednesday at Festival Marketplace on the Kingston Waterfront.
Ewan Simpson, who’s the General Counsel at UDC and also chairs JaRIA, shared, “We’re calling it STYLE because we’re all about Sustainably Transforming Your Lived Experiences. Partnering with JaRIA, the go-to group for our entertainment scene, is a fantastic way to find, develop, and show off the amazing talent we have while creating a space for both corporate folks and creative souls to thrive together. It’s a win-win!”
