Rumours Miss World CEO Julia Morley Tested Positive For COVID-19 Are False

The Social Media Sphere are buzzing with rumours, Miss World 2019 Toni-Ann Singh from Jamaica is in isolation for the #Coronavirus. The rumour states she is in isolation days after the Miss World Organisation President, Julia Morley was tested positive with the virus.

There are no official statement from the Miss. World Organisation, or the Jamaican government or Toni Ann Singh’s people whether she is in isolation or not. The official Facebook page of The Hidden Treasure shared an official statement on from Ms. Morley

“I can assure you that I have not got coronavirus, since it was tested recently.” The statement further clarifies that she was actually suffering from cold, “What I did have was a very bad cold and this was put down as possible but was never confirmed and on checking, no coronavirus was found. I can assure you therefore, there is no problem as far as we are concerned.”Julia was in Nepal along with Miss World 2019 Miss Toni – Ann Singh, and Director of the Miss World Organization, Steve Douglas from March 5 to 8, where she interacted with several celebrities and socialized in various parts of Nepal. According to My Republica, this had created fear among well-wishers of Nepali film fraternity. Amid her Nepal visit, she also went for site visit to ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ project of Miss Nepal 2019 Anushka Shrestha and Miss Nepal 2018 Shrinkhala Khatiwada in Sindhupalchok and Makwanpur, respectively. Meanwhile, audition for Miss Nepal has also been postponed citing corona pandemic.
