Shenseea: The New Face of Adidas Jamaica’s 2024 Copa America Away Kit
Dancehall artiste Shenseea has unveiled the new Jamaica 2024 away kit, which is expected to be worn by the Reggae Boyz during the Copa America this year. The jersey, designed by Adidas, incorporates the vibrant colours of the Jamaican flag—black, green, and gold—throughout its intricate design. Notable features include the national bird, the hummingbird, seamlessly woven into the pattern. The Adidas logo stands out in a crisp white, while the sleeves are fashioned in a solid black. Fans and fashion enthusiasts alike are eager to get their hands on this stylish jersey.
Shenseea wrote on her Instagram page, “One ting bout we Reggae Girls, We never stop working! 🇯🇲Introducing the 24/25 Jamaica home & away kits”.
In the photos released, Shenseea is seen striking a pose in the studio, sporting the new kit paired with Adidas shorts and sneakers. The carefully designed graphics pay homage to the Jamaican National Flag and the unique Swallow-tailed hummingbird. As a noted fashionista, Shenseea’s collaboration with Adidas and the Jamaica Football Federation is no surprise. The singer hinted at exploring unconventional fashion choices in the near future. “I haven’t stepped into the weird fashion yet but that’s where I am headed,” said the artist. “For me, it’s an expression. I like to be talked about, when people look at me like what is she wearing, what is that. Even though it’s not the most beautiful it gets your attention.”
