The United States government donated medical equipment to Jamaica post Hurricane Beryl.
Dr. Nicole Dawkins-Wright, Director, Emergency, Disaster Management, and Special Services, accepted donations valued in excess of USD 14,000 on behalf of the Ministry of Health and Wellness and the Government of Jamaica.
The United States Embassy Jamaica wrote on their X page, we are thrilled to have the USNS Burlington come to Jamaica as part of Continuing Promise 2024!
This mission comes at an opportune time to deliver emergency equipment and supplies to support Hurricane recovery efforts recovery, foster goodwill, and strengthen regional partnerships.
