Man who threatened to kill Prime Minister and his wife in custody
He is 21-year-old Garfield Ross of Bloomfield Street, Mandeville, Manchester.
The Manchester Proactive Investigation Unit has confirmed that the man seen in a mask in a video on social media threatening the Prime Minister is now in police custody.
The threat came after the Prime Minister ferocious response to the mass murder Cherry Tree Lane Community in Clarendon.
Reports are on Thursday, August 15 between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.; a targeted raid was conducted at his premises. He tried to elude the police and injured himself. He was taken to hospital where he was treated and released.

The criminal then threatened to kill Prime Minister and his wife saying, a you and your wife next.
Prime Minister Holness advised the police to exhaust all possible measures to bring the perpetrators of this heinous act to justice.
“I unequivocally condemn this abhorrent, brutal, and senseless attack that resulted in multiple fatalities in Clarendon. I extend my deepest condolences to all families affected by this tragedy.
“I have communicated with the Police High Command and instructed that maximum effort be employed to apprehend the perpetrators expeditiously,” he added. “The Jamaican State will not tolerate such barbarity inflicted upon our citizens. We will respond with resolute force.”
Ross is now in custody pending further investigations. The Manchester Police thanks the public for their vigilance and encourage all persons to continue to help the police to keep their communities safe.
