Tommy Lee Sparta Behind Bars
Dancehall Artiste, Leroy Russell Junior, popularly known as Tommy Lee Sparta was held last night by FreePort Police in Montego Bay.
He was detained in the evening of Tuesday, July 7 during the state of emergency in St James.
The purpose of his arrest is to question him about his influence on the Sparta Gang as stated by his Lawyer Ernest Smith. His lawyer also said in an interview with the Jamaica Observer that so far there are no charges against him. Therefore he is clean and innocent.

In addition to this, he is suspected of being connected to the surge of crime in Flanker, St James. The DeeJay broke down tears claiming his innocence and said he is been targeted by the police. He stated he cannot believe that after leaving Montego Bay for years and has denounced gun violence he is now being accused.
According to his Lawyer Ernest Smith, The Major Organised Crime and Anti-Corruption Agency (MOCA) and the Counter-Terrorism and Organised Crime (C-TOC) did not show up to question him. Therefore, he will have to spend more time behind bars until he is been questioned.
