It is imperative that employees exercise utmost diligence to safeguard themselves from any potential harm, be it physical, mental, or verbal, and to prevent injuries, whether minor or severe. It is incumbent upon volunteers to duly notify the authorities at Jamaica Live or Jamaica Live Cultural Media of any conditions in which they perceive a compromise to their safety. Moreover, in accordance with the policies of Jamaica Live or Jamaica Live Cultural Media, volunteers are mandated to extricate themselves from any such circumstances. 

 It is of the utmost importance that volunteers immediately inform the management of Jamaica Live or Jamaica Live Cultural Media in the case of an unforeseen injury. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the volunteer agreement terms with Jamaica Live or Jamaica Live Cultural Media and may lead to arbitration proceedings with the same entity.  In the event of harm or injury, Jamaica Live or Jamaica Live Cultural Media retains the right to seek private counsel. Furthermore, Jamaica Live and its media entities maintains the prerogative to initiate arbitration prior to engaging in any disputes arising from harm or injury incurred during volunteer activities with Jamaica Live or Jamaica Live Cultural Media.

Resolution of any such matters will be contingent upon legal counsel.

In the event of an injury, whether minor or severe, which may include fatality, a compensation amounting to a minimum of fifty thousand Jamaican dollars (J$50,000) and a maximum of one million Jamaican dollars (J$1,000,000) or the equivalent in United States dollars shall be disbursed to the injured party. This sum may be subject to further negotiation during arbitration or by a court ruling.

This promoter reserves the right partner with a secondary promoter based on the nature of the competition.
2. The competition is open to residents of Jamaica and within the Diaspora aged 18 years and over, except employees of JAMAICA LIVE MEDIA and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation.
3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter any competition or giveaway featured on Jamaica Live Media platforms or website.
4. By entering, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
5. Route to entry for the competition and details of how to enter are posted via all online platforms operated by Jamaica Live Media and their partners/collaborators. These platforms include Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Youtube. 
6. Only one entry will be accepted per person for any giveaway. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
7. Closing date for entries will be determined by the competition/giveaway being entered into. After the end date no further entries to the competition will be permitted or considered.
8. Jamaica Live Media accepts no responsibility for entries not received before the end date for whatever reason.
