12:15 PM PT — According to the divorce docs, obtained by TMZ, Wendy says “irreconcilable differences” led to the end of the couple’s marriage. The docs state a “breakdown” of the marriage over a period of at least 6 months. She wants the court to determine an “appropriate amount” of child support … even though their son, Kevin Jr., is over 18.
The divorce came about after multiple reports of cheating by Wendy’s husband Kevin Hunter.
According to the Daily Mail, Wendy Williams’ husband was spotted on vacation with his mistress.
Wendy Williams‘ husband Kevin Hunter has reportedly welcomed a child with his alleged mistress, Sharina Hudson.
E! News reported that Hudson was discharged from a hospital in Philadelphia on Sunday, March 24. While E! News can confirm that Hudson left the hospital, we cannot confirm that he is the father. Although neither Hudson nor Hunter has commented on the birth or alleged infidelity, there have been rumors for a while that Williams’ husband was having an affair.
The site Love B Scott first confirmed the news and reports that it’s a baby girl. According to Page Six, Hunter and Hudson decided not to have the baby in New York because “it would be leaked to the press” and instead opted for Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia.
Tuesday March 21, Williams broke down in tears on her show, admitting she had been living at a sober home and was attending meetings around New York City.
“You know me for being a very open and honest person. You know Kevin and I have the Hunter Foundation for the good of the people and we recently launched out 888-HUNTER number for people who are in the struggle of addiction. Well, for some time now, and even today and beyond, I have been living in a sober house,” a weeping Williams, 54, told her studio audience.
“When you see me come to work glammed up, right after the show, I do Pilates … You know I’ve had a struggle with cocaine in the past,” she said. “I never went to a place to get treatment. I don’t know how. God was just sitting on my shoulder and I just stopped … there are people in your family, it might be you … I want you to know more of the story.”
“After I go to the Pilates I go to several meetings all around town in the tri-state area, and I see my brothers and sisters caught up in their addiction and looking for help,” she said. “They don’t know I’m Wendy. They don’t care I’m Wendy. there’s no autographs, there’s no nothing. It’s the brothers and sisters caught up in the struggle. It’s been really interesting, this ride.”
